Today it is hot in Holland. I had to take my son Ginji to the hospital to let the anestheist check him out cause in a few days he needs to take an MRI, fully sedated cause he is too small to lie still. Anyway, before the MRI Ginji was awith my dad so I had some time to eat. I deceided to watch the eighties movie "The Lost Boys". I donwloaded it recently together with the new Lost Boys movie "the Tribe". I had seen the Lost Boys when it was released in 1987. I most honestly say that I never have been a big fan of the eighties, not even when I was living in the eighties. It was all to clean, too much Stock, Aitken & Waterman, too much overproduced music, too much stupid movies. I finaly found peace with the release of Nevermind but that's another story. Seeing The Lost Boys today it felt like watching a movie shot today, bright colours, goth, punk, all was there, very funny to see. Looked cool, I gues the eighties weren't so bad after all!

I hope your little ginji is okay. The 80's was a pretty damn cool era to me. I think I woulda enjoyed growing up in that era, because I'm drawn to 80s fashion. And i watch a lot of 80s movies too.
The eighties: sounds better than it was :) I dont know so much about fashion but the eighties for me were Jean Paul Gautier and Grace Jones.
