Can't have this blog without paying tribute to my best friend with who I spend twelve of the best years of my life. His name is Thorgal Afi de Louba Tar, he was a Saarloos Wolfhond, a Dutch breed, mix of a German Sheppard and Rusian Wolf from Blijdorp Zoo. This race was created in the 1920's by Leendert Saarloos. He wanted to create a good and strong dog to guide the blind and to work as a police dog. In that he failed. The wolf in this dog make them hard to train and they dont attack on command, they reather run. What Saarllos created was man's best friend pur sang. A super sweet and beautiful dog/wolf. In the 1970's the race was acknowledged by the Dutch kinological society.
I am proud to know that Thor was there when my family came together. He was there when I met my wife and he was there when my childeren were born. Unfortionally a dogs life is short compared to the life of us and in june 2007 I had to say goodbye to my best friend.

aww he was so cute, I love dogs. I myself have a Fox Terrier who's almost 9 years old and he's my adoration.
I have a new dog, We have him for a year tomorrow. I will do a post on this blog about our new dog, same breed as Thor.
